This stunning Micro-Bop kit is a sparkle lacquer replica of Ludwig's Black Galaxy finish over Johnny's famous maple one ply shells. This is the very first set in this new color.   You can get a huge sound out of these small drums or tune them up into Bebop range. Set up with a Maxwell Rail consolette for easy set-up and transportation. Check out the sound files. Jess did separate ones with low and high tuning and those give you a sense for the sound of the kit with different tunings and provide a nice sense for how it sounds with cymbals and with ensemble-style playing, and then I did a sound file of my own. I wanted to give you an idea as to how the set would sound with some solo work.  The sound files are long and take a bit of time to load, so relax and enjoy them. The files have a pause between them so take your time and hear them all. It's worth it: You will not believe how fantastic these drums sound.   Huge sound from these small sizes.
