1. Rarest Gretsch Bop Kit Ever?

Here is a truly amazing find. This could arguably be the rarest Gretsch Round Badge era bop kit ever. What you see here is a finish that was only catalogued for a very short time and never really offered by Gretsch. It was called Sunset Satin Flame, (also known today as Salmon Satin Flame), and is arguably rarer than any other Gretsch finish other than Cameo Coral. There have been VERY few examples that have ever surfaced. I have had a 12/16/20 and know of a 13/16/22, but we believe that this is the only existing example in 8x12, 14x14, 14x18. The drums sound incredible of course, and the finish is stunning. Satin flame wraps were notorious for scratching, and this set has many scratches, but again, the rarity is incredible here. Also, there are 4 small extra holes where a Ludwig 4 hole rail was installed in the area of the original 2 hole rail. These 4 small holes could easily be plugged, and, we have a small surplus of the bass drum inlay material which could be used to cap the plugs. We will have more photos soon. In terms of value, pristine, 100% original Gretsch Round Badge sets in common colors routinely bring $10,000 and rare colors bring far more. This set has some scratches and the 4 small extra holes, but the rarity here is beyond compare. Contact Steve at 630-865-6849. I am brokering this set for a very close friend, and this set is ready to go right now for $9000. My suggestion: Grab this. There is no rarer Gretsch round badge 12/14/18 on the planet that I am aware of
