This incredible Rogers Mardi Gras set is part of the Chicago Collectiopn and is unlike anyting you will see again. This is a beauiful Rogers Mardi Gras set with B&B lugs (of which only a few have small harilines). The set is in superb condition and includes the following: 8x12, 14x14, 16x16, 14x20, 5x14 8 lug holiday model snare drum and also 5x14 wood Dynasonic and an extra tom, 9x13. We will also include one of my 100% accurate cymbals L arms with Swivomatic tilter as well.

In terms of rarity, this set is arguably the rarest you will find. Not only is the entire set in incredible condition, but it also includes two of the rarest Mardi Gras drums ever; the 14x14 floor tom and the matching 5x14 wood Dynasonic.

14x14: This is the only 14x14 B&B lug Mardi Gras that I have ever seen. There may be another one out there, but it goes without saying that this is an extreme rarity, especially in this condition.

5x14 Mardi Gras Dynasonic. Truly the rarest item in this set. Mardi Gras was only in the Rogers color line for a few years, and was gone by circa 1964. Wood dynasonic snares from the 60s are rare in any finish, but exceedingly rare in Mardi Gras. In all of my years in the business I know of only 3 Mardi Gras dynasonic snare drums. This drum is in wonderful condition with only one crack in the Mardi Gras finish, which has been glued back down. 

We will have detailed photos of each drum. In the meantime, here is a photo of the set. This pic is for the core set 12/14/16/20/5x14 and the wood dyna is set up on the floor. The extra drum (9x13) isn't shown in this photo. Given the range of drums here you can use this set as 12/14/20, 13/16/20, 12/16/20, 12/14/16/20, and can use a snare stand to mount one of the rack toms if you prefer to use two in a 12/13 setup. And, you have the choice of the matching 8 lug snare or the matching Dyna. This set is the finest and most extensive example of Rogers Mardi Gras drums.
